公園デビュー
今日はとても良いお天気。家のベランダにつけていた雪囲いをはずしました。庭の雪も消え、ひさしぶりの開放感を感じています。
愛犬も、冬の間はずっと“室内犬”になっていましたが、今日は今年初めてのお散歩にでかけました。コーギという犬はもともとは草原を走り回っているので、やはり外は大好きですね。どんどん先に行きたくて仕方のない様子。気持ちが落ち着くまでの間、コントロールするのが大変でした。
以前にも書いていますが、我が家の愛犬は大の“犬嫌い”。人間には愛想をふりまき、喜んで抱かれようとするのに、他の犬には敵意をみせ、吠えますし、ときには襲いかかろうともします。社会性のない困った犬なのです。
散歩のコースは高田公園の中。他にも犬の散歩をしている人も多く、よく出会います。いったいどうなるものか、心配でたまらず、犬のいそうもない時間帯に、他の犬に出くわさないようなコースを選んで散歩をすることもよくあります。
久しぶりの今日の散歩は、犬に会わずにすんだのでよかったのですが、こんなことが続くと、私にとっては散歩がストレスになってしまいます。他の犬にも慣れて、すれ違うことくらいできるといいな、などと思っています。
「公園デビュー」が大変なのは、世のママたちだけではありません。その気持ち、分かります。
