火入れ
この週末はお天気がくずれ、雪になるとのこと。今日の夕方からは雷や強い雨、そしてあられも降っています。そして夜更けからはきっと雪。来週いっぱいは、一足早い冬にとまどっていることでしょう。
慌ただしく過ぎていった一週間でした。週末の夜になり、やっと落ち着いてきました。思い立って薪ストーブに火を入れてみました。この冬初めてのことです。
久しぶりに薪の燃える様子を見て、懐かしい感触が戻ってきました。不思議なものです。その炎を眺めていると心が穏やかになるように感じます。何時間見ていても飽きません。ゆっくりとグラスを傾ければ、最高の贅沢です。
のんびりした時間を、過ごしている院長でした。
