渋谷は私の街？
先日のある日曜日、渋谷に行ってきました。
東京に出張で出かける用があったのですが、帰りの新幹線に乗るまでに少し時間があり、ちょっと足を伸ばしてきました。
渋谷というと若者の街。
とてもおじさんの行くところではありません。
そしてJR渋谷駅を出て、ハチ公前の交差点あたりの混雑ぶりは、とても田舎ぐらしの者を寄せ付けることもありません。
でも・・以前から東京に行くと、必ずといっていいほど渋谷に立ち寄っていました。
お目当てはディズニー・ストアです。
ここで医院に飾るフィギアーを買ってくるのが楽しみですし、いつしか習慣にまでなっていました。
今回は何なんかぶりに行ってきました。
３階までのビルのデコレーションも変わっていて、楽しませてもらいました。
そして、今回は「7人のこびとたち」をゲットしました！
これまでも一人ずつのお人形は買っていたのですが、なかなかそろっていませんでした。
それが全部揃いで売っていたのです。
嬉しくてすぐ買っちゃいました。
衝動買いというやつですね。
もうすでに医院玄関に飾ってありますので、どうぞご覧になって下さい。
実は今回無理していったのはもう一つ行きたかったところがあるからです。
それはアップル・ストアです。
渋谷に、日本で4番目の直営店が先月オープンしました。
以前、日本で最初にできた銀座店に行ったことがあります。
同じ直営店ですので、それほど変わりはないはずですが、でも新しいお店ができたとなると行ってみたくなるのは、マック信者の証拠？
それもディズニー・ストアの斜め前にあるのですから、寄らないわけにはいきません。
渋谷に一回行って二度美味しい思いができるというわけです(^o^)
銀座店よりもさらにシンプルで、でもすてきな作りでした。
お店の作り方、ディスプレーの仕方などを見ているだけで、アップルのこだわりを感じます。
あるいは、創業者であり、現在のCEO（最高経営責任者）であるスティーブ・ジョブズの息づかいまでも感じることができる・・ちょっと言い過ぎかな。
私の気持ちが銀座店に行ったときと違うのは、iPodへの関心です。
銀座ではコンピューターのことでいろいろ聞いてためになりましたし、感銘を受けました（技術的な相談に乗ってくれるジーニアス・バーがあるのは、すごいことです！）。
でも今回はiPod。
すでに我が家では私はiPod shuffleを、子どもたちはiPod miniを使っているので、そのアクセサリーも気になります。
私ももう少し大きなiPodにしようか、迷ったのですが、そう・・あと数日で新しいiPodが発表されるという情報もあります。
そうなると、ここは待ちです。
買いたい気持ちをおさえ、アップル・ストアをあとにしたものです。
ところで、新しいiPodが発売されました。
その名は「iPod nano」。
iPod miniの後継機ですが、その薄さには驚愕です。
手帳にも挟み込んでおけます。
もちろん・・iPod nanoはもう注文しました。
新しい物好きの院長らしいと言われそうですね。
ネット上で購入し、名前も入れてもらうことにしました。
今週中には届くとのこと。
いまから待ち遠しいですよ。

スティーブ・ジョブズとiPodのことは、今週の週刊誌「AERA」（朝日新聞）でも取り上げられました。
その中で、彼がスタンフォード大学の卒業式で行ったスピーチも紹介されています。
初めて知る事実、そして彼の考え方、生き方が率直に語られています。
感銘を覚えました。
医院の職員ミーティングが昨日あったのですが、さっそくそのことを話題にしました。
彼のことについては、またお話をしたいと思っています。
