投票に行こう！
明日11日（日）は衆議院議員選挙の投票日です。
「郵政民営化法案」の否決に端を発した、突然の議会解散でしたが、明日の夜には国民の審判が決まります。
といっても、今回の選挙は今後４年間の国政を担う国会議員を選ぶ選挙であり、法案の賛否を問う国民投票ではありません。
ぜひ、国会議員として国政を託するにふさわしい方を選んで下さい。
日本の現況は、とても大きな問題を抱えています。
高齢社会になり、老人介護や年金の問題もあります。
世界で類を見ないほどの少子化社会が進展しているのも事実。
子育て支援などの充実も、緊急の課題です。
（もっとも、子育て支援をしたからといって子どもが多く生まれるわけでもないでしょうし、少子化対策のために子育て支援が必要だと言っているのはおかしいのですが）
経済、外交、政治など、それぞれの分野で重大な課題もあります。
政治家としての力量と見識のある方が、国会議員として選ばれることを期待しています。
投票率も気になります。
選挙を重ねるごとに数字は下がってきています。
それは政治に無関心な人が増えてきたからなのでしょうか。
それとも、選ぶに足る候補者や政党がいないからなのでしょうか。
おそらく両方だとは思いますが、でも投票しない限り意思表示はできません。
逆に、投票しなければ、結果として選挙の結果を支持することになります。
政権を握るA政党がイヤでも、選挙で過半数をとれば、また政権を継続することになります。
投票しないことは、そのＡ政党への選択に賛成したということになるのです。
もしも今の政治に不満があるのであれば、それを示して下さい。
それは、投票することでしか達成されません。
明日の夜には大勢が判明することでしょう。
長い夜になるかもしれません。
