台風準備
アメリカでの“カトリーナ”が未曾有の大災害であれば、日本を今襲っている台風14号も同じく史上まれな規模の災害になろうとしています。
今日のお昼に見たニュースでは、九州全体がすっぽり台風の暑い雨雲に覆われていました。
各地で大雨による河川の氾濫、浸水、土砂崩れ・・
数日前に見た東京の集中豪雨の映像、そして１週間前のニューオリンズの様子と全く同じことがまたおきています。
九州だけではなく、日本中どこも台風の被害が心配です。
くれぐれも警戒をしていて下さい。
新潟は明日の午後からあさってにかけて影響がありそうです。
自宅には日差しよけのよしずやすだれがまだかかったまま。
今朝あわててしまいこみました。
全部はできなかったので、残った分も夜に撤収。
つけるときには丸１日かかった作業が、１時間ほどで終わりです。
あっけないものですね。
よしずやすだれは、今年はいつもより多く設置しました。
その数、20本くらいはあったでしょう。
真夏の暑い日差しをさえぎってくれる効果は抜群、予想以上でした。
自宅ではあまりクーラーを使わずに過ごすこともできました。
省エネにも貢献です。
でも、洋風の家が、なんだか“海の家”状態になってしまっていたのは、ご愛敬でしょうか。
本職の設計士さんに依頼して、もっとしっかりした日よけを探してもらいました。
カフェなどに使っているようなおしゃれな物が住宅用にもあるんですね。
厚い布でしっかりと日差しを遮ってくれるようなのですが・・
でも、それ自体は風を通しません。
それにけっこうのお値段。
ということで、せっかく見積もりも出してもらったのですが、却下になりました。
よしずやすだれは値段も手頃で、使いやすいですね。
見栄えさえ気にしなければ、一番です。
