クーラーなし生活は・・
暑い日が続いています。
でも、ここ新潟ではこのところ毎日「大雨警報」が出されています。
何日も続けて雨という訳ではなく、局地的に、突発的に集中して大雨になっています。
真夏に強くなるはずの高気圧が弱く、北の方から前線が降りてきて、ちょうど新潟の真上に前線が停滞しているのだそうです。
そこに、真夏の積乱雲が発生し、ゲリラ的な大雨になるのだとか。
もしかした梅雨よりたちが悪いかもしれません。
そこに今日も震度５強の地震がありました。
自然の行動は、勝手気ままなんですね。
私事ですが、先日から自宅の修理を行っています。
築10年ほどですが、外壁や外構などに傷みができてきたからです。
いわゆるリフォームというほどの大がかりなものではありませんが、あまりひどくならないうちに早めに修繕をしておこうと思った次第です。
この猛暑の中、何人かの左官屋さんが朝から夕方まで仕事に来ておられます。
けっこう大変な肉体労働のようですが、日中の炎天下でもおかまいなしです。
見ている方が暑そうで、さきに疲れてしまいます。
お昼は戸外でそのままとられています。
桜の木の下でのんびりと。
木陰で、多少の風があるとはいえ、暑いことにはかわりないでしょう。
でも、涼しげな顔をして、休んでおられるように見えます。
体力もそうですが、暑さに負けない気力も充実しているんですね。
一日中医院の中でクーラー漬けになっている私も、週末くらいは自然を感じながら、多少の暑さにも慣れようとは思っているのですが、やはり無理があるようです。
半日も汗をかきながら仕事をしていると、もう体が動かなくなってしまいます。
お昼寝も、クーラーをしっかりときかせた中。
左官屋さんに見習おうとおもったのですが、やっぱり無理。
おじさんたちには足を向けては眠れません。
